If you believe in the rainbow and make it your own, then it ends in your soul where you can keep it for as long as you wish … at least, I think so! 🙂
Depends on where you think the rainbow exists – within you or outside of you. Have you heard of eternal rainbow? Neruda rules, btw!
P.S. There was a typo in my comment before this. please ignore.
Oh….. i love Pablo Neruda…. 🙂 the whole world is in our Soul, all experiences and feelings are different faces of infinite Consciousness. The spiritual teaching of Vedanta declares: if we see another human being, a tree, the stars or a rainbow in the Light of love, truth and beauty, we see our own true Self/the Soul.
I love storms and everything that accompanied it… Thunder, lightning, wind, rain… Everything has a beginning and an end, where the rainbows ends; and its starts all over again… Amazing isn’t it?

I’d like to believe it is within us. I haven’t but it sounds interesting. And yes, Neruda rules! 🙂

Great questions. I reckon att first we think the horizon, but finally realise it can only end in our soul.

Indeed. It’s more comforting for them to end in our soul. Thank you for dropping by. 🙂

while it is true
that all battles
begin and end in the heart
all voyages begin in the sky
when you walk the riverbed of the winds
when the maelstrom is finally past
there you will see that the rainbow is a circle
of iridescent frequencies
