Doodles and Scribbles: Sunset and You

It’s summer again.

I don’t know what’s with this particular time of the year that makes me feel nostalgic and melancholic.

Maybe, it’s the memories. Sometimes, I can feel them in the humid air, or smell them in the dewy grasses.

They flood me with too much yearning.

To ease the insistent longing, I simply settle for the sight of the sinking sun in the horizon. The sky is alive with the explosion of colours, from orange to red, mauve and purple.  It’s so beautiful my throat aches.

Then I think of you. And I wish, I’ll see you again.
